Eventually we decided to move into Drupal, but the eCommerce project wasn't sufficient for our needs. I integrated the QuickBooks Web Connector (probably one of the first to use it) and Google Checkout (my first ever open source contribution) to osCommerce. I got my start in PHP / MySQL when my boss at Prima Supply saw me showing off some old computer games I wrote and had me learn web development to take over his osCommerce work from him.
